Our team of traditional cabinet makers will expertly craft cabinetry for your project. Beautiful quality handmade hardwood cabinets in the classic in-frame style, traditional panelled doors hung on proper solid brass butt hinges, with solid European oak dovetailed drawers and rich lacquered oak interiors. Hand-painted in your choice of colours. Plus, everything we make for you comes with a lifetime guarantee for absolute peace of mind.

We won’t tell you what not to buy, but what we can do is tell you how we build our furniture compared to our competitors. All our cabinet makers are traditionally bench-trained and have hundreds of years of experience between them. But what makes our company so different? In short, the quality and our ethos! Doors & Frames – are made from European Alder, locally sourced, sustainable, and smooth-grained hardwood, ideal for painted furniture. They are not soft tulipwood, which is less robust.
Drawers – Solid oak, dovetailed front and back.
Drawer Runners – Blum, fully extending, rated 40kg, liquid soft close dampers – 25 Year Manufacturers’s Warranty.
Carcasses – Solid oak-faced hardwood engineered wood. Strong, stable and beautiful.
Cabinets – Our cabinets are traditionally crafted as ‘full’ pieces of hardwood furniture; we do not omit the top of the unit to cut costs, which can result in an unattractive interior. This approach ensures that our cabinets are not only beautiful 360 degrees inside and outside the unit but also exceptionally robust
Hinges – Solid brass traditional butt hinges.
Catches – We use very powerful rare earth magnets set into the frame and the top and bottom of the doors, the best and neatest system we have found. Not roller catches which fail over time and look unsightly.
Shelves – All shelves are adjustable. We supply two shelves per standard base unit, not one.
Interiors – The interior of our cabinets and drawers are oak, finished with a hardwearing wipeable lacquer that continues to look beautiful after years of use. No oiling or painting on site is required.
Finishes – Choice of exterior finishes; either primed and undercoated ready to paint any colour after fitting or hand-painted in our factory with a very hardwearing specialist paint designed for kitchens in any colour you choose. Or if you prefer a natural finish, we also make in solid oak, and other woods on request.
Bespoke or Standard – We have an extensive catalogue of standard cabinets which cover most requirements however, we also make bespoke sizes and completely bespoke items.
