Christopher Proudfoot
Co-Founder & Director

Christopher began his furniture journey over 20 years ago. It started in his own workshop, hand-crafting bespoke furniture for the Northamptonshire community, after years of learning the intricacies of carpentry. He spent time researching different designs throughout the globe, visiting countries in Scandinavian, Eastern Europe, and the Americas. But he found his biggest inspiration to be right here in Britain. The furniture he now helps to provide has a very classic British kitchen model but includes modern capacities that we all require.
In 2014, he co-founded The White Kitchen Company. He started to build the company’s reputation on bespoke, high-quality, hand-made furniture sold at a reasonable and below-market price. He has managed to provide customers with a kitchen they truly feel proud of. Although he is a furniture designer at heart, his passion extends to ensuring the best quality and care is given to each customer.
Today, Christopher is still very much at the heart of the business. You may often see him after booking your Home Service Visit, or perhaps around the showroom when visiting us in Northamptonshire. He is always more than happy to explain to customers how we make the furniture and the care that goes into it. He enjoys more than anyone helping customers to fulfill their dream of a perfect hand-made kitchen.
