Quooker Taps
Can a tap make your life easier?
When designing your kitchen, why not look into all the Quooker tap options? They not only manufacture hot and cold taps but they also specialise in chilled, carbonated and boiling water taps. The Fusion and the Flex models deliver cold, hot and boiling water all from one tap, whenever you want. If you need boiling water several times a day, you will not use any more energy with an instant Quooker boiler than with a kettle.
Advantages of a Quooker Tap
Taste – Quooker water tastes better – an active carbon filter in the reservoir purifies the water leaving all impurities behind in the filter. The filter removes all forms of contamination that impact the taste including chlorine, bacteria and pesticides.
Low energy – A Quooker consists of two parts: a boiling-water tap on top of the worktop and a small tank under it, in which the water is stored at a temperature of 110ºC. Thanks to the high-vacuum insulation, the heat can’t escape. That means that only very little energy (10 watts) is required to keep the water in the tank at boiling point. After using the tap, freshwater immediately runs into the tank under the worktop, reheats and is ready to use again.
Cold filtered water – Quooker has two options available to switch from cold water to filtered cold water. All of which save time, and space and remove the need for the use of plastic bottles. The Cold Water Filter is designed to allow you to quickly switch from tap water to cold filtered water.
Sparkling water – With the new CUBE, you can now also dispense sparkling and chilled water from the Quooker tap. It’s installed at the bottom of the kitchen cabinet next to the Quooker tank. It includes two filters that make the water as pure as the bottled water you buy in the shop. The CUBE is attached to a CO2 cylinder that gives you 70 litres of sparkling tap water
Clutter-free – You probably have better use for the kettle space on your worktop. A Quooker gets you a little closer to a clutter-free worktop. The Quooker tank is round and extremely compact and sits under your sink space.
Safer – Every year, hundreds of people suffer burns from boiling water. Boiling water is a particular hazard for small children. As the liquid is safely contained within a sealed tank a Quooker is not only handy but also a safe choice.
