Cheshire Painted Kitchen
Project
The Naylor family in Altrincham Cheshire had decided to take down the wall between their kitchen and dining room to make one large space where they could all spend more time together. An island was a key factor in separating the cooking area and enabling them to socialise whilst cooking, doing homework and entertaining. A large dining table at the other end of the room with lovely views of the garden makes a great place to gather with their extended family and friends. A designed cooker canopy sits neatly above the blue range to make a feature on the far wall. The curved cupboards are not only practical, making good use of the corners with lots of space at the back to keep big pans and occasional dishes, but also give added design to the runs. Painted in Zoffany Chateau, a very light grey with a slight hint of lilac which brings warmth to a well-designed space for family and friends. Porcelain stone effect tiles 60×90 running the length of the room add to the sense of space. Exactly what the Naylor family desired.
