Site Readiness

Important Notice Regarding Delivery and Installation

To confirm your kitchen delivery and installation date, please ensure that the following site readiness conditions are met. These conditions are critical to ensure a safe and successful installation.

1. Conditions for Installation

If the site does not meet the following criteria at the time of delivery or installation, the visit may be aborted, and additional charges will apply, as outlined in our Terms & Conditions.

2. Installation Against Professional Advice

If you choose to proceed with the installation against the recommendation of the fitter, you will be required to sign a Waiver of Warranty and Liability.

By signing this waiver, you acknowledge and accept that:

  • All warranties and guarantees (including the Lifetime Manufacturer’s Guarantee) will be voided,
  • No rights to repair, replacement, or rectification will apply,
  • Installation will not begin until a signed electronic copy of the waiver is received and confirmed by our office.
  • The fitter still reserves the right to abort the installation if the criteria is not met

3. Damp or Freshly Plastered Spaces

Cabinetry must not be installed or stored in a damp environment or in spaces that have been recently plastered.
Doing so will result in immediate voiding of all warranties and guarantees.

4. Minimum Site Readiness Requirements

The following conditions must be met before delivery and installation:

  • The building must be weather-tight, with all external doors and windows fully installed.
  • All first-fix plumbing and electrical work must be completed.
  • The heating system must be commissioned, and rooms where cabinetry will be installed must be maintained at a minimum temperature of 15°C.
  • All walls and ceilings (including adjoining walls that cabinetry backs onto) must be fully plastered, dry, and finished.
  • Walls must be painted and free from ongoing finishing work.
  • Flooring must be fully laid, running wall to wall, with a finished surface.
  • Any existing kitchen cabinetry must be fully removed before installation.
  • The installation area must be clean, clear, and free of building materials or debris.
  • On arrival, the fitter will use a moisture meter to confirm the site is suitably dry.

If the area is deemed unsuitable by the fitting team, installation will not commence.

5. Aborted Visit & Charges

If the site is not ready at the time of the scheduled installation visit:

  • Installation will be aborted,
  • A charge of £350 + VAT will apply, payable directly to the installers.
  • The customer’s 25% installation deposit will be forfeited.

6. Storage of Goods if Installation is Delayed

If installation cannot proceed and goods have already been delivered, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the items are stored in a dry and suitable environment.

Goods must not be stored in:

  • Damp areas, or
  • Rooms that have been freshly plastered.

If necessary, the fitter may remove and store the goods at a suitable off-site facility, at the customer’s expense. These costs may include:

  • Removal and transport to storage
  • Secure storage
  • Redelivery to site

All storage and logistics are subject to availability and will be quoted in advance.

By confirming your delivery and installation date, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms above, and accept that any deviation from these conditions may result in additional costs or loss of warranty.
