Classic turns Contemporary

Traditional meets contemporary in this large kitchen in Manchester, which styles our classic Period Plain English furniture into a modern masterpiece. The space is bright and airy and is bathed in natural light thanks to the brilliant sky light which hangs over the dining area.

The customer ordered their kitchen from us primed so that they could choose their own colour palette upon its arrival. They opted for a monochrome theme with a light beige colour for their outer cabinets and a black for the kitchen island. The space blends light with dark effortlessly to create beautiful moments of contrast at the kitchen island. The island utilises a variety of double door and single door cupboards to allow the family ample storage space for their kitchen essentials such as pots and pans. Here appliances such as a dishwasher and pull out bins hide behind our bespoke appliance doors to create a streamlined aesthetic. A small wine cooler sits within the island units and opposite is space for seating which is perfect for breakfast dining or gathering round with friends for a social evening.

A stand out feature of the kitchen is our beautiful housing that frames the Samsung American Fridge Freezer. These surrounding cupboards provide easy access to dry food when prepping meals and gives the fridge a built-in look so that it stands in harmony with the rest of the cabinetry. A second stand out feature of the kitchen space is the Period English canopy which sits beautifully above a run of our triple door cupboards. These triple drawers have chrome cup handles which complement both the kitchens' monochrome colour scheme as well as the sink and tap. The canopy has three panels and a shelf which is perfect for small house plants and ornaments. Next to this are Neff double ovens within our oven housing, again creating a harmonious look between the cabinetry and appliances.
