The Fusion Kitchen
The Perfect Blend
Fusion is the contemporary kitchen range from The White Kitchen Company: flat slab doors with handles, hung in-frame like a traditional kitchen. Like all our kitchens it is solid wood with no MDF, hand-painted in any Farrow & Ball or Little Greene colour, made in 10–12 weeks and delivered fully assembled, from £1,180 per metre including painting and VAT.
Our showroom Fusion display is given an industrial feel by its dark colours and powerful-looking metal handles, and then tempered by natural oak drawer fronts.
CONTEMPORARY WITH HANDLES
Flat Fronted
Our Fusion range is the newest style of cabinetry that we have to offer. It is a transitional style between our modern, flat-fronted kitchens and our traditional Shaker and Period English styles. By effortlessly blending the slab fronts with handles, our designs explore clean lines and bold blocks of colour whilst keeping the same, high quality of all our bespoke furniture
TRADITIONALLY HUNG
In-Frame
All our doors are hung in-frame, meaning they are positioned inside a frame rather than on the outside, which can lead to sagging over time. This style imparts a distinctive and classic appearance to the kitchen. In-frame cabinets are renowned for their robustness and longevity, making them the preferred choice for those seeking a traditional and elegant kitchen design. They are often associated with high-quality craftsmanship and are our top choice for bespoke kitchen designs. For more info on our cabinets and materials, please visit our cabinet construction page.

Fusion kitchen FAQs
What is a Fusion kitchen?
A Fusion kitchen from The White Kitchen Company combines flat slab doors and handles, which give a contemporary look, with traditional in-frame construction, where each door sits inside the cabinet frame. It is a transitional style between modern flat-fronted kitchens and traditional Shaker and Period English kitchens.
How much does a Fusion kitchen cost?
The White Kitchen Company prices Fusion cabinetry at £1,180 per metre (Cottage), £1,818 (Town House) or £2,372 (Manor House), including hand-painting and VAT. Complete kitchens start from £11,808, and single Fusion cabinets are sold online.
Is a Fusion kitchen in-frame?
Yes. Every Fusion door from The White Kitchen Company is hung in-frame, inside the cabinet frame rather than on its face. The flat slab door gives a modern look, and the frame gives the strength and fit of traditional cabinetmaking.
What are Fusion kitchen cabinets made from?
The White Kitchen Company makes Fusion cabinets in solid wood with no MDF, MFC or chipboard: Paulownia carcasses, beech frames and doors, poplar panels and solid oak dovetailed drawers. They are hand-painted in any Farrow & Ball or Little Greene colour, or supplied in lacquered oak or primer.
Can I see a Fusion kitchen before I buy?
Yes. The White Kitchen Company has a Fusion kitchen display at its showroom at Seven, Grange Lane, Pitsford, Northampton NN6 9AP. Visits are booked by appointment.
