Our Process

We Are with You All the Way!

Below we have set out 12 simple steps to achieving your dream kitchen from The White Kitchen Company. As a team of talented designers, project managers and artisans, we are passionate about realising ‘YOUR’ dreams, for us, it is all about you.

We will work with you to achieve what you want. Whether it is that particular shade of ‘Barbie’ pink (that you have set your heart on!) or, as with another client, you want an eclectic bespoke cabinet with different-sized drawers, and a different handle on each to fit snugly in a disused fireplace, we will always go the extra mile. We can take care of everything for you – Cabinetry, Accessories, Appliances, Flooring, Work Tops and Installation.

Ordering your new Kitchen

12 Simple Steps
  1. 01Initial Estimate

Once we have a fully dimensioned floor plan (or scaled plan), we’ll call to discuss your ideas and wishes for your new kitchen, then provide an estimated cost tailored to your needs.

  2. 02Design Brief

If the estimate meets expectations, we’ll gather your information, ideas and desires—plus a few of our suggestions—to create a detailed Design Brief.

  3. 03Full Design & Quote

After reviewing the Design Brief, you may pay a non-refundable £750 deposit (incl. VAT, credited against your cabinet cost). We’ll produce a fully itemised quote with 3D imagery.

  4. 04Order

If you’re happy with your design you may place your order, we require a deposit of 50%, this books in your delivery date. If you need some changes before booking your delivery slot we can do one more revision at this stage.

  5. 05Finalising All the Details

Now your kitchen is booked in, we will send you 3 forms requesting confirmation of the room dimensions and your choices of finishes and appliances etc. Once all the information we need has been confirmed we can make any final design changes prior to sending your order to manufacture, if there are any cost changes we will discuss those with you.

  6. 06Lead Time

Our lead time is 10 weeks. Once the order is sent to manufacture, no further changes can be made.

  7. 07Pre-Installation

We will be in contact before your delivery to check everything else is on track for your kitchen installation. The room is ready for fitted furniture when the walls are fully painted, doors and windows are in, flooring is laid wall to wall and it is warm, dry and dust free.

  8. 08Payment for Your Cabinetry

Your balance invoice is sent three weeks before delivery. Cleared funds are due one week prior. All previous payments and any cost changes are reflected on the final invoice.

  9. 09Fitting

On the day of delivery our recommended fitters Heasman & Co will be onsite to unload your cabinetry and begin installation. They provide a dry fit service backed by a lifetime guarantee. If you opt to use your own fitters please ensure they specialise in bespoke cabinetry. They will need to unload the delivery vehicle as our deliveries are driver only.

  10. 10Worktop Templating

Once all base cabinets are fitted, they can be templated for your worktops—usually around a week into installation. All appliances relevant to the worktops should be available for the templater.

  11. 11Worktop Installation

Worktops typically take a couple of weeks to fabricate. After installation, remaining appliances and any outstanding cabinetry can be installed. Your plumber and electrician can then complete their work.

  12. 12Enjoy Your Beautiful New Kitchen

Sit back, relax and enjoy your new kitchen!
