The Oak Frame Kitchen
Project Gallery
Apart from our shaker cabinetry, one of the most beautiful features of this Liverpool kitchen is the outstanding natural light that floods the space. Its oak framed floor to ceiling windows and beams create an authentic, light and airy space for the whole family to enjoy all year round. The kitchen island is painted in Farrow and Ball’s ‘Moles Breath’ and complements the chrome till handles effortlessly. This space serves as a brilliant place to wash dishes as you look out over the spring blooms which fill the garden. With the island seating, family members can sit beside you at the island or opposite on our bespoke window seating.
The island and its surrounding cabinetry also offer practical storage solutions with a variety of triple drawer cupboards that conceal utensils and crockery to ensure the kitchen always looks orderly. This is similar to the pantry and larder cupboards which, when you close the doors, provide the family with a space to hide their dried foods and appliances. Our cupboards are ideal for ensuring these objects and appliances do not take up the important worktop space needed for prepping tasty meals. Furthermore, to store the family’s comprehensive collection of cooking and baking books, bespoke shelving occupies the side space of one of our tall cupboards to utilise the space of the kitchen effectively.
Another stand out feature of this kitchen is its bespoke canopy with an elegant arch that frames the Rangemaster cooker. The canopy cupboards with corbels offer a small space to store essential cooking items (such as spices, within easy reach when creating delicious home-cooked meals. In addition, another bespoke feature of the kitchen is its wine rack placed above the Fisher and Paykel fridge to keep red wines at the perfect room temperature, whilst the wine cooler keeps the white wines chilled and ready for drinking.
