Stunning Cogenhoe Kitchen
Project
Eloise’s vision came to fruition as we worked together to achieve the perfect shaker kitchen in her Victorian cottage. The planned new extension was to run across the back of the house, so Christopher was able to add some useful suggestions, adding a glazed Crittal-style screen between the sitting room and the new building to add light and a feeling of space.
A no longer required door opening was utilised for the American fridge which allowed enough space for an L-shaped island. The hob on the island works beautifully, enabling the chef to enjoy the fabulous view whilst cooking and is great for entertaining purposes. The paint colours are Farrow and Ball Railings on the island and the perimeter cabinets are Sanderson Chateau.
Something to think about when choosing your paint colours; the photographs show how changeable the colours can look in different lights, natural light from the window shows up as quite blue, whereas on the other side of the island, it looks almost black.
