Eclectic Black & Gold Kitchen

Project Gallery

We love our clients dark designer kitchen. The shaker cabinets painted in Farrow & Ball’s ‘Studio Green', steel beams and exposed brick work to create a modern, industrial kitchen whilst the gold handles adds a luxurious edge. The kitchen was designed with entertaining in mind and has a dinner table and peninsular breakfast bar seating area for guests to congregate, with a wine fridge in easy reach. Tucked away in a nearby corner is a sneaky ‘Naughty Corner’ which houses a curved corner shaker cupboard which acts as a bar area for the family’s display of bottles and favourite beverages.

The real beauty of this eclectic kitchen’s design in Liverpool, is in the small details. The French-style Fisher and Paykel range cooker, fridge-freezer, and the Quooker taps silver finish contrasts pleasantly with the gold embellishments, hinges and knurled, ‘Buster & Punch’ handles used on the cabinets. On either side of the fridge freezer are pantry and larder storage areas to keep all storage necessities close by and within reach when cooking. The design also takes care to perfectly maximise and open up its space with a number of features such as the mirrored splash back and open shelves which are decorated with houseplants, cookbooks and ornaments alike. Below these sits a small variety of utensils and cutlery which make perfect use of the wall space rather than taking up important worktop areas that are used for preparation and cooking.
