Inspired by old English antique furniture, Plain English kitchens are typically styled with a simple five-piece door structure, hung in-frame, and feature flat drawer fronts, some of which include a subtle bead. This timeless design is ideal for those who want their kitchen to age gracefully over time.

All doors are hung in-frame, meaning they sit inside the frame, unlike modern units where the doors sit outside the cabinets. All our drawers are made of solid oak and use traditional dovetailed joints. To find out more about how we build our units, take a look at our Construction page.
To create the perfect style you can choose any paint colour from Farrow & Ball or Little Greene. Our paints are specifically developed for kitchen units with an extra tough finish. The choice of handles is yours—you only need to tell us what colour hinges you require.
